History
The Ferguson Christian Church was established in January 1949 by a number of courageous individuals who loved God and wanted to share His love with the city of Ferguson, Missouri and the world. During the past 62 years, the church has remained faithful to its mission to: Love God – Love Others.
Using its facilities at the corner of Elizabeth and Hereford Avenues in Ferguson as a center of operations, the congregation has ministered in numerous practical ways in the name of Jesus. In the past six decades, the church provided the community with a place to worship God, grow in faith, and enjoy the fellowship of other believers. It has also helped to start new churches and a Bible college in the St. Louis area, to provide meals for the families of sick children, and to recruit and support missionaries around the world. Currently members of the church serve as missionaries in Mexico and Taiwan.
